The first few weddings of the year - emerging from Winter into the delightful freshness of Spring... it's such a boost creatively and psychologically - it's awesome to shooting again after a Winter hiatus.  And what a start to the year!

Crisp, clear light - so fleeting at this time of the year, but with a magical quality, bringing gorgeous soft hues of the surrounding green hillsides - when Winter's kind, it's a wonderful season.  Lucky for us, Nicola and Alan's wedding day was filled with moments of gorgeous light - matched by awesome people, and a really touching ceremony.  It was a wonderful day to share with you both - congratulations on a truly special wedding - here are my favourites - 2016 is off to a roaring start!!

I've been looking forward to Amy and Keith's Oran Mor wedding all year - Oran Mor's a stunning setting for a Glasgow wedding, and it's a stone's throw from the Glasgow Botanic Gardens - what an awesome combination…

It was a day full of colour, texture and light - inspiring locations and wonderful moments for my camera.

The highlight for me (of course) were Amy and Keith and their wonderful family and friends that filled the day with laughter and love.  It was really special to be with you on your wedding day, thank you everyone - an unforgettable day at Oran Mor...
