Aimee and Chris' Broughton Craggs Wedding Photography

It's always exciting to predict how a wedding day will evolve and when the highlights will occur - for Aimee and Chris' wedding the highlights just kept coming, all day long!

The morning's preparations at Graysonside Guest House in Cockermouth were lovely, the girls made me very welcome and the photo opportunities were abundant.  Then onto the idyllic Broughton Crags Hotel - where the photography stepped up a level and guests relaxed in the sunny gardens.

With the sky warming to the setting sun (and the clouds building - a little ominously) the wedding party and I headed off to the nearby banks of the River Derwent for some riverside wedding photography.  We captured some lovely portraits of Aimee and Chris by the river and some fun shots of the bridal party.  I'm glad somebody suggested bringing the umbrellas.

It is difficult to pick out one highlight - the vibrant colours, a gorgeous setting, strutting peacocks, dramatic weather, space hopping on the lawn, fun and laughter at every turn...or skinny dipping in the River Derwent (!).

You guys were seriously fun to photograph - thank you for being so awesome, and, of course, congratulations Aimee and Chris! Here is your day...
