Mabie House Hotel Wedding Photographer Dumfries and Galloway
Written in my notes for Nuong and Barry's wedding is the word - 'Details', then‚ 'Details, details, details'!
Beautifully crafted and thought out, details were everywhere - Nuong had described her aim to bring the outside inside‚ and with a fantastic selection of countryside flowers presented in vintage bottles, collected locally, star bunting (made by Nuong, on the train journey to Dumfriesshire) accompanied by a host of treasured momentos.
It was a perfect summer's day, with an outdoor Humanist ceremony with Jan Dunckley in the leafy surroundings of the Mabie House Hotel. Even the clematis adorning the front of the Mabie House was in full flower (and coordinated with Nuong's colour scheme), providing a beautiful backdrop to the ceremony.
So the day was perfectly planned, with fantastic attention to detail - but the most enjoyable aspect of Nuong and Barry's wedding was their huge sense of fun! Giant Jenga, Space Hoppers on the lawn - and taking things to the next level - a bouncy castle!
The beautiful day was a treat for my camera - and such a pleasure to be part of.
